VISIT THE TAJ MAHAL



The first and foremost thing that attracts all the tourists to Agra is The Taj Mahal. The memorial, prayer room, museum, and garden are the top attractions here. To fully appreciate this monument, allow 90 minutes to 2 hours. The TajMahal, also known as one of the Seven Wonders of the World, is an iconic 17th-century monument that was built by the 5th Mughal Emperor in Memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is one of the most symmetrical monuments in the world. The best time to visit is at sunrise, you will find minimal people, and you will be able to catch the natural beauty of this place. After Visiting Taj, take a break for your breakfast. You will find some local food vendors delivering the delicacies of Agra.

Agra Fort



After having breakfast, take 20 minutes to drive from the Taj Mahal to Agra fort. The Red Fort in Agra is a prime example of exquisite Mughal construction. It is among the most gigantic forts ever constructed since it has withstood the changes in several civilizations, and you will occupy yourself by learning more about it. Also, visit the breath-taking view of the Taj Mahal from this fort.You can also skip this place and visit it in the evening as you might catch the Sound and Light show that takes place here at 7 pm. 

Itmad-ud-Daulah



Also observed as the Taj Mahal's ancestor, a Mughal Queen constructed it for her father. The Itmad-ud-Daulah Tomb is on the Yamuna River's bank. With the sculptures and inlay work, it virtually resembles the Taj Mahal. You are also welcomed to take a short stroll along the edge of the river.

Ram Bagh



The city's oldest Mughal Garden is located here. There is a benefit to visiting this garden in the middle of the day. No matter what time of year you visit the park, it will always be cool. The Yamuna River's air would chill the area during scorching days. It is calming to wander around this beautiful place.

 

End your day by shopping at various famous bazaars in Agra. Sadar Bazaar is the top tourist shopping location in Agra. Here, you may discover a variety of eye-catching souvenirs and other goods. Additionally, Agra Fort is nearby. Other famous tourist destinations to visit in Agra if you still have time left are Fatehpur Sikri, and Akbar’s Tomb as well.
